Past Perfect Continuous
Past Perfect Continuous is used to express an action that started in the past and continued for some time in the past. auxiliary verb “had been” is used in this tense.
“Since” or “for” is used before the “time reference”
Subject + Auxiliary verb + Main verb + object + Time reference
